Delaware Water Gap park is where adventure can be found and enjoyed. The water gap in Delaware is where you can kayak and take off into nature. In the fall, they would move back to their village and harvest their crops. In the winter, they hunted deer and other animals.

Franklin Mineral Museum, Sterling Mining Museum and Oxford Furnace and Shippen Manor are great places to visit if you are a history buff or a teacher with a group of children eager to learn, or just see some really cool stuff.The Delaware Water Gap National Recreational Area is regulated by the National Park Service and is one of the most popular stretches on the Delaware River.There are primitive campsites available, but on the weekends you will be competing with crowds of paddlers, swimmers, barbequers, campers, and fisherman for these camping spots.

Camping at a commercial site will also allow you to take advantage of the many recreational opportunities offered in the Delaware Water Gap.Nearby Allamuchy State Park (which, by the way, is composed mostly of quartz granite), offers a number of tiers and cliffs for amazing hiking experiences.

Delaware Water Gap -It's been named as a National Recreation Area, with hundreds of options for outdoor adventure sports like river rafting, skiing, kayaking as well as mountaineering trails and trekking.Main Street is bookended by a prestigious prep school and the town's venerable feed store. This is a walking village, good for an hour's stroll with weekend guests and a poke around the stores and quiet streets.
