Laoag is a great city of Philippines located in the province of Ilocos Norte. Being a commercial, industrial and political center of Ilocos Norte, this city has got the rapid growth of economy. Besides, tourism has also become a chief economic resource of Laoag City. Huge number of Chinese and Taiwanese tourists are found coming to this city for experiencing the warmth of its money-making casino that is situated in Fort Ilocandia Hotel and Resort, which is a five star resort hotel.

Fort Ilocandia Hotel and Resort is located in Barrio Calayab near international airport. This resort is not only famous for its casino but also for its accommodation and other features like Full Moon Chinese Restaurants, Flamingo Teppanyaki, Bar-B-Q, Monte Carlo Club and Golf Course, which is one among the best in Asia Pacific. These amazing features make this resort the most interesting vacation spot.

Filipino beaches are some of the finest in Asia, and with almost 60,000 km of coastline, there's plenty to choose from. You'll find the very best in the chain of islands known as the Visayas, which stretches from the southern tip of Luzon al the way down to Mindanao, and includes the major islands of Samar, Leyte, Bohol, Cebu, Negros and Panay, as well as hundreds of alluring pint-sized islets in between. The most famous island in the whiole set is tiny Boracay, a beautiful but pricey resort island. Quieter, equally lovely Visayan islands include Romblon, Bantayan, Panay, Bohol, Malapascua and Panglao, all of which offer the perfect combination of luxuriously soft sand, a decent choice of beachfront accommodation, and laid-back fishing villages.

Though rice terraces are common in the Cordillera region of northern Philippines and in other Asian countries, the most extensive and impressive collection is found in Banaue, Ifugao. More than 2000 years old, it is located 1500 meters above sea level and covers an area of 10,400 square kilometers. These terraces are thought to be built mostly by hand and with minimal use of tools, and were created out of necessity to create flat fields for planting rice in the mountainous regions. It uses an ancient irrigation system.

Boracay which is located Visayas Island south of Manila is visited of millions of foreigners every year. The beaches at Bohol, Cebu and Batangas are also frequented by foreigner. Except for the rainy months of June and July, you can visit Philippines beaches because the country has a tropical weather all year round.

Loay Bolo Makers are the makers of local sword. Tourists are allowed to watch how they were made but not purchase. The sale and distribution of these were the sole responsibility of the local government to ensure that the bolo makers get a fair price.

Clarins Ancestral House is one of the many Spanish period houses (bahay na bato) that still stands. It is the 19th century ancestral house of the Clarins family that is now made into a national heritage site and converted into a museum.
